37th World Military Wrestling Championship
The 37th World Military Wrestling Championship was held in Yerevan on November 18-24 at the Karen Denirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. About 400 athletes from more than 24 countries arrived in Armenia to participate in the championship.
At the 37th World Military Wrestling Championship, the athletes of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia won a total of 14 medals: 3 gold, 3 silver and 8 bronze.
During these days, the athletes visited the sights of Armenia: Garni Temple and Geghard Monastery, as well as the Ararat Brandy Factory, where a brandy reception was organized.
